JOIN THE MISSION

Dr. Holloway, who is a long time Compton resident, has contemplated how to turn her vacant lot into a thriving community space for some years now. Through a collaborative effort between JTM Academy and The Los Angeles Urban League, we now have an opportunity to help put legs on Dr. Holloway's vision, while simultaneously providing vital work experience for students in the process of learning a trade. This project has been extended to community members and will be broken into 4 phases. The potential for this project to offer multi-level support is endless. This project space will provide an environment for students to learn, experiment and foster innovative growing techniques for organic gardening.
